There are two main analysis tools that you will receive in the Realtime Video software.
Video Analysis
The Project Recordings page found in the Analysis tab of your project menu will house all the video outputs for your groups or interviews that have run in the Realtime software.
Each interview or focus group will have the following videos for each session, listed in the Media Browser sidebar on the left-hand side of this page.
You can use the search bar to search for Activity Name, User, or Support ID. By default, the Media Browser filters by All Media, but clicking the dropdown allows you to filter by Participant Recordings, Moderator Recordings, Screen Recordings, or Group Recordings.
Participant Videos
These are single feed videos of each Participant that participated in the research.
Group Videos
Videos noted as Group will be videos with all the participants and the moderator that attended the session. All participants will display above the moderator.
Screen shares - as applicable
If screen sharing happened during the session, a separate recording will appear with a recording of what was shared.
Downloading Audio and Video
To download a video, click on it from the left side of the Analysis tab, then click the Download File button that appears in the right-hand sidebar Video & Audio Files section. You will get the option to download the entire video or just the audio when clicking the Full Video or Audio Only options.
Videos will download in an .mp4 format and in most cases will be 720p resolution. Exceptions may occur to the resolution when participants have a lower quality webcam or in the occasional case where manual intervention is required to have the files loaded to the Analysis tab.
Audio files download in .m4a format.
Processing Updates
While video files are being processed, the Analysis area will show status updates so you know the stage that your final files are at.
Conference Timeline
The Download Conference Timeline button will appear as a button as soon as your session has been ended in the activity.
The conference timeline downloads as an Excel file and includes:
System Messages on when people connect and disconnect from the software and are moved from room to room
Chat messages entered into all rooms (Backroom, Main Room and Waiting Room)
Poll Questions, Responses as well as links to download charts
When media and questions were posted or marked as finished from the guide area
