Variables can be used on the Welcome page in order to customize information for each of your participants. Using the same variables found in the email tool, you can include key details like start time and end time as well as personalizing the page for your participants.
Welcome page settings location
The welcome page can be edited from the activity settings found in the Settings menu in the board. This is the menu that is to the farthest right in the top banner away from the rest of the tabs.
After clicking the Settings tab, the Activity Settings window will appear from the right-hand side of the screen. The Welcome Message settings are located in the General Settings area of the settings beneath the Observer Home Page Options and will require a minor amount of scrolling to see fully.
How to update the welcome message
Click into either the Home Page Message Title field or the Home Page Message field to make updates to either the title or message on the welcome page.
This is a WYSIWYG editor that lets you copy and paste text as well as typing directly into the text boxes. There is a formatting bar available that allows for font, colour and other text formatting options to be made.
When the updates are completed, click the Save and Close button to save any changes you've made to the activity settings.
If you are on the Welcome Page when clicking the Settings tab, you will need to refresh your webpage to see the updates applied.
