This article describes how to enable Screen Sharing on an Apple Macintosh computer running macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or newer. You will need Administrator permissions in order to proceed.
If you haven't enabled Screen Sharing previously for the browser you are using, the first request will trigger the following pop-up:
You will need to click "Open System Preferences" to allow the browser you are using to share the screen. This will bring you to the correct page in System Preferences to enable the Screen Share Permission.
If you are not greeted with the above dialog and you can't screen share, you can get to the same page by clicking on the Apple Menu, and selecting "System Preferences"
Once you're in System Preferences select "Security & Privacy".
And select the "Privacy" tab. To make changes you will need to click the lock in the bottom left corner of the dialog. When you click it you will be prompted to log in using Administrator credentials. Once the credentials are authenticated the lock will open.
Once you are here navigate to "Screen Recording" in the left (scrollable) setting selection box. Next you can select the check box for the browser you are trying to enable Screen Sharing for.
If the browser is open when you enable the checkbox macOS will prompt you to close the browser. You will need to restart the browser for the permissions to take effect.
