Settings that determine how participants can respond to a question
The Question Response area of the question determines how a participant can respond to a question.
Here are the options available in this section:
Text - The participant will be able to answer the question with a text response. This includes the ability to upload media as part of their reply.
Text or Video - The participant will be able to respond to the question with text or by recording a video using their phone, tablet, or webcam. This option also includes the ability to upload media as part of their reply.
Video - The participant will be required to answer with a video as a response. They will have the option to upload or record a video. This is the recommended setting if you require a video response.
None - There will be no reply area for the participant.
The required/optional setting determines if a participant is forced to answer a question before moving onto the next question
Required - The participant will be forced to answer the question before moving on to the next question.
Optional - The participant will be able to move forward to the next question without answering this question.
Settings that Determine How They See Other Participant's Responses
The question mode determines how participants see each other’s answers in a question.
Regular - The respondent can see the replies of all the other participants before they post a reply themselves.
Uninfluenced - The respondent will not see the other replies until they have responded themselves.
Interview - Sets up the question so it looks like a one-on-one between the moderator and the respondent. As a result, the respondent never sees the posts of other respondents.
