When a moderator or project manager user takes the host seat in itracks Realtime Video, the recording automatically begins once a participant joins the call with them, at which point the recording icon will appear and a message will be posted in the discussion area indicating 'The video is being recorded'.
Note: The recording cannot be restarted once it has been stopped. Stopping the recording will disconnect all observers, and live transcription will stop.
Click on the recording icon as shown below to stop the recording. You will be asked to confirm or cancel.
A pop-up window will appear, with the options Continue Recording and Stop Recording.
If you would still like to stop recording, click Stop Recording.
After the recording has stopped, the record icon will disappear but the time elapsed will continue to count. The system message 'The video recording has stopped' will appear in the discussion area.
