Email Invite Details
Before the start time of your session, you will receive an email from hello@itracks.com with information on how to sign into itracks and join the research study. Please read the instructions fully as they will inform you of the length of the project, project start time, and tech support information.
There are two ways to sign in. Only one of the following methods will be requested via your email invitation.

2. Using the Click here to join link
Registration and Login Page
If a Registration and Login Page link is in your invitation, you will be asked to create a password and confirm your information the first time you log in.
Your password can be anything that you would like it to be as long as it meets the system complexity requirements. This will be the password that you can use to log into the project and attend sessions.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
Passwords must contain multiple character types. Try:
- Adding both upper and lowercase letters.
- Adding numbers.
- Adding punctuation.
Enter your Password and Confirm Password in the fields as shown below. The passwords need to match. When done, click Continue.
Terms of Service: The terms of service must be agreed to register. To read the Terms of Service, click on the link in the account information area to accept the Terms of Service, check the ‘I accept the Terms of Service’ checkbox. Click the Continue button once you have agreed to the Terms of Service.
In some cases where the research team has determined it is important that the Terms of Service is fully read by each user, the terms of service will appear on a page that needs to be agreed to before entering the study. The accept button will remain gray until the Terms of Use page has been scrolled through all the way to the bottom. It is not until the document has been scrolled and read that you can accept the Terms of Service.
Using the Click here to join link
In some cases, you may see a Click here to join link in your invitation email.
When you click on the Click here to join link, you will be taken to a page asking for your email address. Enter your email address and click Continue.
If this is your first time logging in, click Send a one-time passcode to send a temporary passcode to your email inbox. If you have previously created a password, you can click the Use my password button to sign in.

Profile Information
In some cases, there will be additional profile information for you to fill in after completing the registration stage. These fields may be required in order to fully register/begin the meeting. Required fields are denoted with a red asterisk.
Arriving Early
If you register earlier than 30 minutes before your group start time, you will be taken to a landing page indicating that you have upcoming activities. You can log out and log back in 30 minutes before the start time to access the meeting.
What to expect in the focus group
If you log in 30 minutes or less before the scheduled time of your group, you will automatically be taken into the Waiting Room of the focus group. In the waiting room, you may be greeted by tech support and will be able to see the chat of other participants who join the group with you. Once the group begins you will be brought into the main room to start the discussion.
To chat into the group, type your text into the textbox at the bottom of the screen where it says Enter Message… Hit the Send button to send your text into the chat area.
You are also able to direct message the moderator. Click the Message Moderator button or, if you have it open, just going to the direct messages area on the right hand side of your screen. The Message Moderator button will open the direct message area if you do not have it open.
How to respond to questions
To answer most questions you will simply need to type your answer into the textbox below the chat area and hit send to send the answer into the discussion.
Your text will show up right aligned. All other people's responses are left aligned. Moderators will have a black outline with a blue header indicating that they are asking the questions.
The moderator may also ask single choice and multiple choice questions. In these cases, make your selection and click the Send button when you are done.
Visuals and Links
If the moderator decides to show pictures, videos, or web links these will appear in an area that will automatically show up to the right of the chat area. The chat area will shrink so you can focus more on the visuals or links the moderator would like to show.
If you need to see the media in a larger window, hover over the upper right corner of the media with your mouse and click the Open in a New Window button to have the media display in a new window.
In some cases, the media will automatically open in a new window. If you have a pop-up blocker on your computer you may get a screen with a button that asks you to click it to view the media. Click the button to bypass your pop-up blocker and view the media.
Any media viewed in a new window will not remove you from the chat area. The session will continue to record in the background while you are viewing the media. When the moderator stops sharing the media you should automatically see the chat area with you and the other participants again.
