In order to comply with CASL (Canada's Anti Spam Legislation) an unsubscribe link appears at the bottom of every email sent out from an itracks broadcaster. Any user receiving an email can click to unsubscribe from receiving emails from the itracks broadcaster. This unsubscribe link is automatically appended and is not able to be removed.
If someone has unsubscribed, it does not disable them from accessing our studies. If they have access to the study via bookmarks, emails they received prior to the unsubscribe request or otherwise, they can still continue to engage in research. However, They will no longer be able to receive emails from itracks to remind them to continue participating, inviting them to future research or to reset their password.
itracks no longer emails the addresses that have unsubscribed to the project contact directly in order to not expose personal data. In cases where you need to check if there are any unsubscribes in your project please email help@itracks.com with your Project ID to find out.
